Main Hall

On the first floor, the Main Hall can be used for conferences, events, wedding receptions, graduations, concerts,  dances, birthday parties and a variety of games and sports. Some sports equipment can be provided, just enquire to confirm availability. Fixed tiered bench seating at the back of the Main Hall will accommodate around 150 – 200 people.

Floor space can accommodate up to 200 people with seating/function tables or 300 people standing.

As of 2022 the Main Hall has additional equipment offering enhanced professional facilities available to all users as part of their venue hire. And there is an additional stock of optional extras that can be provided at heavily discounted rates but only if requested and agreed in advance. In this case a Centre Technician will be required.

Hire charges

SpacesMonday to Thursday from 9am to 8:30pm, and Friday from 9am to 3:30pm.Fridays from 3:30pm onwards, and all day Saturdays and Sundays.

*At weekends a 4 hour minimum booking applies. #Where a City of Edinburgh Council janitor is utilised outwith our standard opening hours a minimum spend of £32 per hour plus an additional £32 is required.
